Refund Policy

Although we hope that you love your order from Electric Travels, there may be times where you need to return items to us. You have 28 days in total to contact Electric Travels and to return your items.
 
Please read through our returns policy below to see if this option is available for you.
 
Can I cancel my order?
 
Should you wish to cancel your order, then please email us with your order reference number: info@electrictravels.co.uk
 
If you have not received a dispatch confirmation email, then we should be able to cancel your order and issue a full refund.
 
If your order has been dispatched, then do not sign for the item. The goods will be returned to the sender and a full refund will be issued upon return.
 
I’ve changed my mind – Please can I return?
 
If for some reason you change your mind and would like a refund, you have up to 14 days to let us know, and another 14 days to return the goods to us.
 
You will need to return the product to us before we can provide a refund.
 
Electric Travels can help arrange the return of your order for a charge of £20 – this cost is due to the size of the product. Electric Travels can issue you with a returns label and arrange a collection. No need for you to leave the house and find the nearest drop off points!

Remember to include your order number and the reason for your return in your correspondence.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in “as new” condition and the condition that you received it in. That being, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions.
 
 
We cannot, under any circumstances, accept the return of an item that has signs of use.
 
Opening the box to observe the item is permitted, however using the product then deciding to return said item will not be accepted.
 
As stated previously, all items must be returned in the original box. Any items not returned in original packaging with incur a £15.00 surcharge. Orders with items missing will also incur charges.
 
Charges for missing items are as follows:
 
  • Missing Charger - A deduction of £20.00 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter.
  • Spare tyres - A deduction of £25.00 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter.
  • Missing Manual - A deduction of £5.00 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter.
  • Missing Valve Extender - A deduction of £5.00 will be made when this is not returned with the scooter.
  • 4 Handlebar Screws - A deduction of £1.99 will be made when these are not returned with the scooter.
 
Faulty items:
 
We are sorry to hear your item has obtained a fault.
 
In this instance please immediately contact us: info@electrictravels.co.uk
 
Again, remember to quote your order number and inform us of what is faulty with the item. After this we will be able to advise your further.
 
If your fault is after 30 days of purchase, you may still be covered by the manufacturer warranty. Contact the email address listed above with the same details so we can advise you further.
 
I have received the wrong item / Something is missing:
 
We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused. Please do not hesitate to contact Electric Travels with your order number / the issue and we will resolve this for you.
 
When will I receive my refund?
 
We will drop you an email when your refund has been processed, this can take up to 7-10 business days.
